Ray County Hospital and Healthcare

  • Played a key role as a member of the senior administration team, leading organizational and communication strategy, decision-making, and cross-departmental initiatives. 
  • Collaborated in the successful implementation of a new $1.2M Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring seamless communication between clinical and administrative departments. 
  • Led a rebranding initiative, including logo redesign, messaging strategy, and a comprehensive rollout plan to elevate the hospital’s identity and visibility. 

  • Transitioned marketing operations in-house by replacing an underperforming vendor, streamlining workflows, and improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness of marketing campaigns. 

  • Built collaborative relationships with county legislators, civic groups, and community organizations to enhance the hospital’s presence at local and state levels, resulting in stronger advocacy and community engagement. 

  • Designed and executed integrated marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, traditional media, and community outreach, leading to increased patient engagement and improved public perception. 

HCA | Centerpoint Medical Center

  • Served on the senior team for HCA Midwest Health at Centerpoint Medical Center, handling strategic planning with responsibility for all aspects of community engagement, marketing, media, and public relations.
  • Report to the CEO, providing strategic planning and tactical implementation for multiple service line marketing for a 285 bed tertiary medical center.
  • Leveraged content to create dynamic materials, messaging, events and forums that positively engaged the community to choose Centerpoint Medical Center and affiliated network partners.
  • Serve as the Public Information Officer for media and crisis communications.
  • Oversee and participate in both hospital and division marketing budget planning.
 

WellCare / Missouri Care

  • Developed marketing strategies and initiatives to increase market share by 45% within assigned marketing territory.

  • Created and expanded relationships with business partners, school districts, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and high traffic health providers to launch partnership programs.

  • Utilized sales and marketing tools to increase brand awareness and increase membership retention.

  • Introduced and managed internal and external communications, including company newsletter and mobile app updates.

Current Board Membership

  • Mother’s Refuge 

Mother’s Refuge provides a safe home for pregnant and parenting young moms and babies that do not have a stable or permanent place to live. Women 12-21 years of age are provided with 24 hour direct supervision and guidance. Moms and babies can remain in the maternity home for up to 2 years after their baby is born.
